Destiny Ventures is a Raleigh, North Carolina-based non-profit made up of a team committed to creating experiences that promote life transform. 

Board of Directors

Dave Koch

Dave served as President/CEO of the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and as Executive Director of Atria Southpoint Walk Senior Living. He was the founding President/CEO of American Human Services and Vice-President of Lutheran Family Services Carolinas. He has been involved in the restaurant business, having owned/operated Remington Grill, the Bullseye Grill, and Simply Delicious Catering. He was the Board Chair of the West Raleigh Exchange Club and served on the boards of the Kraft YMCA, Great Commission Events Ministries, Prevent Child Abuse NC, and the West Raleigh Baseball Association. His wife, Lisa, is Chaplain at Wake Med Cary Hospital. They have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.

Coburn Murray

Coburn is a Raleigh-based entrepreneur with experience building and growing mission-centric organizations. As a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and MACM student at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, Coburn strives to see others live in the fullness of their destiny and grow in their relationship with God. Coburn served overseas with the Peace Corps, set up a ministry, and co-founded Redeeming Development Group in Raleigh, NC. Coburn enjoys surfing, is married with 4 children, and values time with family and friends.

Josiah Corrigan

Josiah has served as Chair and Executive Director of multiple non-profits, including Son Set Ministries, The Lenoir County Fuller Center for Housing, and Grace Fellowship Church. Combining his experiences as a litigator and service on multiple non-profit boards with his passion for wild outdoor places and seeing people prosper, Josiah serves as the Chief Legal Officer for Destiny Ventures. Josiah lives with his wife Lindsay and their three kids in Kinston, NC.

Chris Hodges

Chris is a Co-Founder of Redeeming Development Group, where he spends his time inspiring values centered on faith, stewardship, generosity, and ministry. As a graduate of NC State University, Chris has led overseas mission trips to South Korea and Slovakia and has spent time living in the UK and Wyoming. In his pursuit of the outdoors and the beauty of the West, it was in Wyoming that he first caught the vision for Destiny Ventures. Chris is married with three children and enjoys spending time with friends and family at the beach or lake. 

Nina Roberson

Nina is a finance professional with years of experience in administration, human resource management, and bookkeeping. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration and working in the industry, she spent time homeschooling her 4 children, bookkeeping, and managing a dental office. After her children graduated, she became the full-time Finance and Admin Manager for Redeeming Development Group. She has been married to her college sweetheart for 38 years. Her joy is helping people see the love and grace that Jesus extends to them and to help develop their relationship with Him. She enjoys reading, interior decorating, and spending time with her family.

Ryan Jackson

Dr. Ryan Jackson has spent more than 20 years learning and practicing leadership in the Body of Christ. He holds a Bachelors of Religion from Emmanuel College, a Masters of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and both a Masters of Philosophy and a PhD from Cambridge University. Throughout these academic pursuits, Dr. Jackson has been actively involved in serving the church locally and globally. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of The Capital Church near Raleigh, NC.

Miles Honeycutt

Miles has been a leader in Durham's building and real estate industry for the past 15 years. A Greenville, NC native and graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, Miles is most interested in following Jesus and navigating being a husband and a father to boys, which often takes him outdoors. Always up for an adventure, he enjoys seeing the fruits of labor, exercise, hunting, fishing, golfing, and learning anything new that teaches life lessons. Two of his favorite books are The Sound and the Fury and The Brothers Karamazov. He and his wife Catherine have four boys David (3), Stuart (7), Charlie (9), and Jackson (11).

Josh Oliver

Meet Josh Oliver, a man of faith, integrity, and service, who has made a significant impact on his community. Raised in a Baptist minister's household, Josh learned the value of these principles early on in life. Today, he is a devoted husband and father of three, and a serving member of CELEBRATION Church in North Raleigh.


Josh is a versatile entrepreneur with a proven track record of success in a variety of industries, from restoration company and pest control to digital/brand marketing and SaaS software development. His commitment to innovation and progress extends beyond his professional life, as he serves on the board of the North Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and is deeply engaged in community affairs. But that's not all - Josh is also an accomplished musician, earning recognition including a Grammy nomination.

Ben Spickard

Ben is a marketing professional with experience working in the software, manufacturing, and blockchain industries. After growing up in Raleigh, NC, Ben graduated with an engineering degree from Virginia Tech and managed projects in Atlanta, GA, for Oracle, Kik Consumer Products, and World Trade Center Atlanta. Upon returning to Raleigh in 2021, Ben joined the team of a blockchain tech organization and has consulted for 20+ businesses and non-profits. Ben enjoys serving at his local church, attending running clubs, and going to new coffee shops.
